Dress Code
All registered students of Redeemer Lutheran School are expected to comply with the uniform dress code while at school or participating in school related activities, other than sports. Personal appearance sets the tone for personal pride and behavior, and experience shows that personal dress does impact behavior. Dress regulations also help foster a positive Christian environment and lend dignity to the school community. The principal will have final say in any interpretations of the dress code that are necessary. The Board of Christian Education will review the uniform dress code on a yearly basis.
Uniform Standards
We require you to purchase student uniforms at any uniform supply company or in the uniform section of the clothing department. Please note: Gently used uniforms are available.
If you have a question about whether the clothing is acceptable under the uniform dress code, please bring it to the school office before having your child wear it. The school has the right to determine the appropriateness all uniforms.
Students who are out of school uniform will not be allowed into class, at the discretion of the principal, until the appropriate dress is brought from home. Parent permission does not excuse students from the school uniform dress code.
Seasonal Options
Thermal underwear or long sleeved t-shirts may be worn beneath the uniform if they are solid colored and are covered by a long sleeved uniform shirt.
School Spirit Days
Fridays will be School Spirit Day when students are permitted to wear their Redeemer t-shirts. Students however must wear uniform standard pants, shorts, skirts, or skorts with the t-shirts. Students may also vary from the dress code on special spirit “Free Dress" days will occur periodically. Students may wear their choice of school appropriate clothing.
